Winches are greased

Today was pretty productive. Made room below so we can work on the engine tomorrow. Greased all four winches. The cabin tops badly needed the attention. I moved the stands so I can sand under the pads tomorrow.

The plan for tomorrow is to pull the head on the engine and finish the bottom. After that we need to:

• vacuum the cabin
• scrub the deck
• organize the cabin
  

The bottom is done

Well, mostly done anyway, I've sanded it down to 600. The only parts left to sand are those spots under the pads. I started with 150 dry, they used a 220 screen and 320 wet-dry paper. I was going to continue with paper on a pad, but Kelly has this stuff for auto-body work that fits on a random orbital sander. The 400 and 600 grit disks worked pretty well.

Clutches

So the clutches are mounted. I removed all of them, but the two spin, jib and main halyards. Still need to mount the toppper cleat on the mast.

Next project is to grease the winches. I might try to get there this week. Next week we start on the bottom.
